Notebooks
T.E.A.M. (Teaching Everyone About Management
Skills) notebooks are a way to help your student learn to be (and
stay) organized throughout this school year and beyond. This
notebook is a three ringed binder, put together by the teacher and
students, which houses everything in one place that the students
and parents will need to keep them up with what is going on at
school. No more wrinkled papers at the bottom of backpacks,
shoved in the back of desks, or lost in the dark abyss of the
locker!! Each section is listed below with an explanation of
its purpose. *These sections are
subject to change as the need arises.

Parent/Teacher
Communication
Look in this
section for notes from me. If you need to communicate
with me, (ex. Suzi has to leave early for a dr. appt), and
remind your child to show it to me after pledges/prayer. |
Newsletters
I will
occasionally send home a newsletter about activities in our
class. I used to send a newsletter home every week,
but I found that I can put the info online and save paper! |

School Schedule
Schedules are
subject to change at my discretion, but usually we keep
to this timeframe.

Reading Time Sheet
When we are
tracking our reading minutes at home we will have a time
sheet in our TEAM Notebook. |

Homework Section
Students
will keep track of all homework assignments! |
Pencil Pouch
Keep a
pencil in the pouch at all times. Put money in the
pouch for lunch or field trips. |

Things to Keep
Things
that can stay at home will be put in this section. |
Checks/Check Register
These
will be used for our HOMEWORKOPOLY game.
Parents,
please check the check register often for "withdrawals".
This is a sign of misbehavior in class. |
